I came to study Interior Design as a mature student to pursue a career change. Leaving
the security of full-time employment to return to college was a daunting experience but the tuition and new skills I gained from my time in BFEI gave me a new-found confidence. After graduating from the Interior Design Course, I then went on to continue my studies and graduated with a BA in Interior Design & Architecture from Teesside
University. Whilst in BFEI, I secured a job with Design Squared as an Interior Designer working as part of the design team on numerous hospitality and residential projects. After 4 years with Design Squared, I wanted to develop my skills even further and broaden my project knowledge so I Joined Mortar & More in January 2016 as an Interior Designer where I now work on some really exciting workplace and retail designs. BFEI opened new doors for me, I now have a new career, albeit a challenging career, but nevertheless, it is a career I love and I couldn’t imagine myself doing anything else.
