Student Sports & Social Committee
At BFEI located in Blackrock, Co.Dublin, the Student Sports and Social Committee is the body responsible for the co-ordination of social, cultural and sporting events for students. Representatives from each class are elected to the Committee in September each year. All students are actively encouraged to participate and support Committee activities. The co-ordination of these activities is facilitated by staff members.
Events
The Committee aims to hold at least 3 or 4 events during the year. Some events are held in conjunction with the other DDLETB colleges while other events are for BFEI students only.
Typical events run by the Committee include:
- Social nights
- Soccer tournaments
- Table quizzes
- Sports tournaments
- Charity events
