Creative Media An Post Projects

The brief for the students was to design a series of three Limited Edition Stamps based on the theme of 'Modernism'

The stamps were commissioned to celebrate 150 years since the Modernist era and were required to reflect the styles and attributes associated with Modernism. Each stamp was designed to the traditional standard size , and kept the value and format of existing ÉIRE stamps.

Games Design Development 2020

In a badly lit, ill stocked supermarket, crazed Covid-19 infected shoppers run around like headless chickens. Why this horid virus forces these poor souls to hunt toilet roll, no one knows. Your mission is to collect all ten hand sanitizer bottles, but beware. Touch of any of the crazed Covid-19 infected shoppers and you'll loose one of your five lives (best viewed on a Desktop PC, wont work from mobile). Good Luck!

Creative Media Book Covers

The brief for the students was to completely re-design a book cover from a selection of classic novels. They had to research and use the creative process to design an entirely new concept for the cover design, avoiding previous published cover designs. All image editing was done using the skills they learned in Photoshop, typography and layout of the front cover, spine and reverse of the book had also to be considered and creatively assembled.

Creative Media Exhibition 2019

Each year the students’ of our Web Design and Digital media, Games Design and Creative Writing  Course put together a showcase of a selection of their work in the college. They print and display their work from the year on the walls of the College and invite friends, family and relevant IT and Design companies into view their projects. These are images from our 2019 exhibition. We had a wide variety of websites, games, graphic and digital images works on show last year. This year due to Covid-19 we are putting some of this years students work on display in this online End of Year Design Exhibition.
