Practical Mindfulness for Stress Management
With Sally Dunne
Modern life places many demands on our time and attention. This practical 8-week course offers an opportunity to explore mindfulness and discover how a regular practice can support greater calm, focus, and well-being in everyday life.
Through a combination of guided practice, discussion, and reflection, participants will learn what mindfulness is, how it works, and how it can be applied in daily life. The course will explore the growing body of research supporting mindfulness-based approaches to stress management and overall well-being.
Participants will experience a range of mindfulness practices, including seated meditation, body scan, mindful movement, walking meditation, mindful eating, and techniques for bringing mindful awareness into everyday activities. Each week will also explore ways mindfulness can help us respond more effectively to stress, worry, rumination, and unhelpful thinking patterns.
Audio recordings will be provided to support home practice between sessions, helping participants build confidence and develop a sustainable mindfulness routine.
Suitable for beginners and for anyone wishing to refresh or deepen an existing mindfulness practice.
Certification awarded on completion of the course.
