Welcome everybody! My vinyasa flow class aims to connect breath and movement to create a sense of calm in body and mind. We will move through strong and dynamic vinyasa sequences, so expect to be challenged both physically and mentally. Variations and options will be offered throughout the class to either increase intensity or ease the poses.
Breath work and meditation will also be incorporated to build stillness as well as strength. All levels welcome!! All I ask is that you listen to what your body needs, and focus on your practice, it doesn’t matter what anyone else in the room is doing. If one evening you feel low energy and just want to come and lay down on the mat for an hour and listen to some nice music, that is totally fine (in fact sometimes thats all you need to do to have a successful practice)!
Herbal tea will be offered after class for those who want to stick around for a bit longer. I look forward to meeting you all.
Mats will be offered, but if you prefer to bring your own, feel free to do so. I also suggest bringing a water bottle.
A little bit about me… I completed my 200 HR Yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India, where I learnt all about ashtanga and hatha yoga, as well as yoga philosophy and meditation.
